1. Information We Collect
a. Information You Give Us
- ◆Contact and registration forms: Name, email, phone number, and any message or information you submit when you contact us, book a call, join a waitlist, or register for a program, course, or live event.
- ◆Purchases: Billing name, address, and payment details when you purchase a program, course, or event ticket. Full payment card numbers are collected and processed directly by our payment processor (see Section 4) — we do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
- ◆Program participation: Information you share during coaching sessions, live events, community spaces, or program materials (intake forms, coaching notes, chat messages, comments).
- ◆Comments: If you leave a comment on the Site, we collect the content of the comment, your IP address, and browser user agent string (to help detect spam). An anonymized hash of your email may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you have an associated public profile (Gravatar's privacy policy).
b. Information Collected Automatically
- ◆Cookies: Used for login sessions, remembering your preferences, and understanding site usage. See Section 6.
- ◆Analytics data: Pages visited, time on site, approximate geographic region, browser and device type, and referring pages, collected through tools like Google Analytics.
- ◆Marketing and advertising identifiers: If we run ads (e.g., Meta, Google), those platforms may use cookies or similar technologies to measure ad performance and show you relevant ads on their platforms. See Section 7.
c. Media Uploads
If you upload images to the Site, avoid embedding location data (EXIF GPS), as this data can potentially be extracted from downloadable images by others.
2. How We Use Your Information
- ◆Deliver the programs, coaching, courses, and events you register for or purchase
- ◆Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
- ◆Send transactional communications (confirmations, reminders, program logistics)
- ◆Send marketing communications, including email and SMS, where you have opted in or as otherwise permitted by law (see Section 8)
- ◆Process payments and prevent fraud
- ◆Improve our Site, content, and programs
- ◆Comply with legal obligations
3. Live Event and Testimonial Content
If you register for or attend a live event, workshop, retreat, training, or immersion program (such as the UNHOOK 5-Day Live Immersion), please see our Terms of Use for the terms under which audio, video, or written content from that event — including anything you say, write, or submit during the event — may be captured and used in our marketing and educational materials.
Attendance at a live event constitutes permission for that use unless you notify event staff in advance, as described in our Terms of Use.
For testimonials or case studies collected outside of a live event (for example, a written testimonial you submit after completing a coaching program), we will only publish your name, likeness, story, or details with your specific, separate consent.
5. Embedded Content and Third-Party Links
Pages on this Site may include embedded content (e.g., YouTube videos, social media feeds) or links to third-party websites. Embedded content behaves as if you visited that third-party site directly, and may collect your data, use cookies, or track your interactions. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party site or service, and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
7. Advertising and Do Not Track
We may use third-party advertising platforms (such as Meta/Facebook and Google) to show ads and measure their performance. These platforms may use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies to collect information about your activity on our Site and elsewhere in order to serve you relevant ads. You can opt out of interest-based advertising through tools like the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out page or your device/browser settings. Our Site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
8. Email and SMS Communications
If you provide your email or phone number through a form, registration, or purchase, you may receive transactional messages related to that program or purchase, and, if you opt in, marketing messages about our programs and offers.
- ◆You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
- ◆You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text.
- ◆Message and data rates may apply to SMS communications. Message frequency varies.
- ◆We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Comment data is generally retained indefinitely to support comment moderation. Program and purchase records are generally retained for at least the period required by applicable tax and business recordkeeping laws.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- ◆Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- ◆Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- ◆Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal, contractual, or administrative exceptions)
- ◆Opt out of marketing communications at any time
California Residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 14. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children's Privacy
This Site and our programs are intended for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email below.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and we encourage you to review it periodically. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
